The blade is the core of the sword, and it represents its strength and purpose. In Depaj, we craft blades of different shapes such as curved and straight, reflecting the depth of Gulf heritage. We offer premium blade types like the “Jawhar,” whose origins date back over 300 years.
Sheath
The sheath protects the sword and adds a touch of elegance. At Depaj, we use pure silver and 21k Bahraini gold, along with high-quality natural and synthetic leathers. Our sheaths are also adorned with precious stones and Bahraini pearls for a luxurious finish.
Grip
The grip is the first thing held and the last thing released—connecting the hand to the blade with honor. At Depaj, we use premium wood, ivory, and Bakelite. Our grips are decorated with traditional motifs (ta’ous), once used to symbolize military rank.
